Erica Dampier?

Ok Firstly, I don't know the exact CBA rules etc but here is an interesting thing I read about and thought maybe we can get involved.

Eric Dampier has a 13million UN-GUARANTEED final year of his contract left. The thought around is that Dallas will use this and Roddy to Sign and trade a Max Player.

What that mean to us? Well the team taking that deal, won't be looking to keep Damp (at least on that contract) the will waive him and thus reap the rewards of the deal.

Now if that team wants to re-sign him I think its a long shot (and maybe not allowed? ) that he would re-sign with them if they just cost him several million. So he'll be free agent most likely.

I wonder how Damp would look in a Thunder Jersey? He big, and a good post defender. Not a bad locker room guy. He wont be able to run as much, but he's certainly an upgrade over Krystic AND we could potentially offer him a short term deal?

We cant have superstars at every position, So a good solid defender with size like Damp could turn out to be just what we need.

I would sign him to compete if we don't get a player in the draft or a younger fa C.

i dont really like Dampier, he doesnt really have no offensive moves, and i rather go with krystic he inst that much of an upgrade, i would sign him but he would have to be really cheap
