Another important division game. A win in this one on the road would somewhat make up for the loss to Utah at home. It'll be tough. If the Thunder play the same as they've been playing it's going to be a blowout.

I just hope the thunder bring some extra lube tonight because they are probably still sore from last night.

Offense looking much better tonight and not because their are hitting shots, but playig smarter. Still not smart enough, but smarter
Defense is ok, but far from good. They cant guar the paint and the Blazers are killing us with easy alley-oops and layups.

Not happy about being down 7. This is a fun game to watch. Well, except for all the back door alley oops. Those are driving me nuts.

It quickly changed to NO offense and NO defense.
OMG, what is going on with this team???
Isolation play for Westbrook, everyone just standing around and then RW, a career 20% 3pt shooter jacks up a 3 at the end of the shotclock without anyone else touching the ball?

If this continues, Im gonna get real tired of this **** and I donno if I wanna keep watching these games. I mean, its onething to have an off-night and not play well, but there seems to be no structure in this team on offense, stupid plays and then no efford on D. Inacceptable!

What? The defense has been horrible. This is one of the worst games defensively I've seen the Thunder play in a long time. The Blazers are shooting 64.3% from the field. Almost all of their shots have been open on the perimeter, they've had several uncontested drives to the basket, and got three (three!) high-low alley oops on the same exact play.

Barring a miracle, this will be the third consecutive Thunder opponent to shoot 50% from the field. The Thunder only gave up 50% shooting 12 times last season. I don't think they ever did it in back to back games.

Ron Adams took the defense with him to Chicago. I don't question Brooks' ability to motivate the players. Clearly the team listens to him and are receptive. But I do question his basketball acumen, his knowledge of X's and O's, and his ability to implement a coherent gameplan. The defense has looked unprepared and unfocused all preseason, and all season except for the fourth quarter against the Bulls. The players are not communicating, leaving guys open, going under screens on shooters, getting caught ball watching, losing their man on cuts, allowing guards to get into the lane untouched. This is stuff that did not happen last year very often.

It's early in the year but I have serious questions about Brooks' ability to carry over the defensive system that Ron Adams left for the Thunder. They just look like a different team on that end. Last year we'd be winning this game easily against the Blazers because the offense hasn't been that bad. You're not going to win any games playing defense the way we are tonight.

Russ has been balling and the effort on defense has been better but we are having tons of problems because we're playing small ball with Ibaka at center. Green's played alright but I think in a game like this we could be winning if we had Krstic or Aldrich in the game for Green right now. We'd be winning without giving Portland all these easy looks inside in the fourth.
