Six assists on 10 FGM. Better looking offense.

The defense has looked the same.. poor rotations, getting caught in no man's land, getting back door'ed, half-hearted contests on the perimeter.

The offense has looked better but it's against Philly, so.

You can see there has been a concerted effort on offense to get better shots closer to the rim, and there has been more movement (ball and player). Fewer isolations, and more passing off.

Good signs.

Wish the defense would show up this second half and we can have a throwback night.

Durant seems to have gone cold again though.

The defense was pretty bad towards the end... this shouldn't really have been a game the way Philly shot the ball in the second half but they got a lot of easy shots at the rim. Kevin Durant fell asleep a few times defensivey - got beat on a back door by Andres Nocioni (as well on leak outs several times before), Jodie Meeks beat Harden off the dribble and there was no rotation to help, Evan Turner got behind our defense to get an easy layup in transition, and we got beat up a bit on the offensive boards too (with Aldrich / Ibaka on the court, no less). This was another game where we had guys ball watching and their backs to the rim a lot.

Offensively it was a better story. The ball moved a little more for most of the game although it became the Kevin Durant / Russell Westbrook iso-show down the stretch again. James Harden in particular was wide open on the perimeter constantly once again, on one posession Russell had the ball on the strong side and Harden was in the far corner jumping up and down for about six or seven seconds (he did not get the ball). He got an one open look which he missed then another chance on a short shot clock.

Part of the struggles the last couple games is due to Jeff Green being out. With Nick Collison also out, and Brooks refusing to even look at DJ White, we're playing a real short rotation. Thabo Sefolosha played 40 minutes tonight, many of those at power forward. Krstic had another 30+ minute night. So even though I don't think Green should be starting PF, he's definitely more valuable than Krstic or Thabo out there extra minutes, especially in the lineups we had them.

Small ball down the stretch (Krstic / Durant / Harden / Thabo / Westbrook) was rough, and the lineup in there to start the fourth (Krstic / Thabo / Harden/ Westbrook / Maynor) was real dumb and let Philly back into the game real quick. I think this team would perform far better if either Cole Aldrich could secure some playing time, or if Nick Collison would come back. Losing Green puts even more pressure on the small ball lineups...

Any idea when Green is coming back?

I'll take the win and offensive improvement hopefully the D (and regular minutes for Aldrich) will follow

I'm hoping Green comes back after the All-Star break. I hope Serge keeps putting up solid numbers and hitting the 15foot jumpers like he did tonight. Serge needs to start. Green getting hurt could be the best thing that happens to the club this season.

Any chance we can trade Cook for Meeks? That kid can flat out shoot. I liked him in Kentucky. Wasn't sure how his game would translate because he isn't overly athletic. Looks like his stroke had no problem making the jump.

I like Maynor getting minute with Westbrook at the 2 and Harden on the bench. Harden is flat out pooping his pants on the daily. The guy is playing atrocious.

They could have played better but I will take the "W"!

Aldrich had a very good game, I hope he gets more minutes. The defense is so much better when he's in there

Got the W, but I'm still not impressed with the rotations and defensive effort. Thought Harden would be more featured, especially with Green out.

I thought this was the perfect opportunity for James to be a 2nd/3rd option, play 30+ minutes and handle the ball.

Harden got into foul trouble early, he looked effective. Was moving around a lot more on offense.

In the fourth quarter he was open a lot but didn't get the ball.

he should be more than a spot up shooter as well

he really does need a midrange game though
