Attendance

Post#1 » by fallacy » Wed Nov 10, 2010 10:40 pm

The thunder are one of only 8 teams to sell out every home game so far with the mavs, blazers, bulls, celtics, heat, cavs, and magic.

To go even further, the thunder are one of only 4 teams to sell out every home game AND every road game with the heat, bulls, and magic according to ESPN

http://espn.go.com/nba/attendance/_/sort/allPct

This not only means that our fanbase is dedicated to come and show its support for the Thunder but we are attracting fans from all around the country that want to come and see us when we're in town.

One of the most impressive sellouts so far was the game @Detroit. Although it was their home opener, it has been the only sellout that they have had and they are 28th in attendance

Thats pretty impressive, especially the away games. Goes to show Durant's star power and that opposing fans are potentially expecting him to explode on any given night and crap on their team.

We did

I don't know why I was thinking this was in Philly. @Indiana might be the game to break the streak unless no one shows up when we play Minnesota at home. I highly doubt that though.

UPDATE:

The thunder are now one of only two teams (the bulls) who have sold out every home and road game.

Pretty damn impressive

yeah. They sell 90% of tickets at home, and 89% of tickets on the road
