Oklahoma City Thunder @ Utah Jazz 11/15/2010

The Jazz are playing some great basketball with one of the most impressive road trips I've ever seen.
The Thunder are currently ranked 28th in defensive efficiency. From top 10 defense to arguably the worst in the NBA. The offense has gotten on track somewhat over the last week or two, but the defense continues to struggle.
A road win against a divisional opponent can cure what ails you, but against a Jazz team playing as well as anyone in the league, that might be too tall an order.

Jerry Sloan vs Scott Brooks, oh dear.
I have no pre-game comment on this one.

Jerry Sloan told Deron Williams that Matt Bonner was 7 for 7 from three last night.
Williams with three threepointers in a span of 90 seconds.

Amazingly awesome! League pass has it blacked out, so glad I shelled out the dough for league pass again this year.

Here are all the Jazz scoring plays so far:
AK drives to the rim unabated right by KD to draw the foul
Williams wide open three 'guarded' by Thabo
Jefferson open jumper 'guarded' by Krstic
Williams transition three with Westbrook about six feet off of him
Williams three with in Westbrook's face, who lazily raises his arm to contest the shot
Pretty ridiculous. This team is no longer fun to watch.

Ibaka gets caught in the lane too many times.

Westbrook is playing lazy defense and commits a dumb offensive foul because he had nowhere to go with his reckless drive. Even Hayward is having fun with this Thunder "defense".

The whole team is playing this way.

Only a nine point game still.

Here's to optimism...
I can't stand the body language of Westbrook and Durant when things don't go their way. They get this petulant look.

if they continue this piss poor effort on the defensive end i might honestly stop caring, serious this is down right embarrassment and stupid to even watch.

Having Nick Collison on the floor makes such a difference on both sides. Guy loves contact, chases loose balls, cleans the glass on both sides, sets hard picks.
That offensive putback dunk probably caused a 4 point swing in our favor.
DJ White getting some PT.

Goodbye, Russ. Serves him right for playing his beloved one man game.

Woa, Brooks introduces a new killer lineup:
Maynor - Ivey - Sefolosha - White - Ibaka
Perimeter scoring FTW.

We just took the lead. Utah is playing sloppy, but the Thunder look more active on D. I like our ball movement a bit better on offense, Ivey is actually doing a decent job at the point.
Ivey - Thabo - Durant - Ibaka - Krstic on the floor.
