Durant in the Post

I feel the Thunder should try and play Kevin Durant in the low post more
I saw against Portland at the end of the game that Durant was isolated in the post against Nicholas Batum and Durant easily shot over him and portland had to double team
this could be an exciting way of new playing similar to Magic if the thunder can surround Durant with some shooters

I see what you're getting at but a few things to consider
1. none of those were in the "Low" post. Mostly high post or simply posting up the guy on the wing
2. None of those did KD show a "post move" they were an array of jumpers
3. KD will get pushed off against the stronger SF's
4. Its not a bad idea to give the ball to KD in those spots, but its still an iso for him and I'd prefer to see move ball movement with him running off screens occasionally acting as a decoy.

I actually don't mind the ISO of KD around the free throw line but the top of the three point line must stop. It is horrible. He either jacks a long three or drives and gets a TO.

I haven't seen KD show significant post foot work, but he has solid moves from jab step to pull up jumper or turn around jumper. In fact Durant's scoring efficiency depends a lot on how and where he is fed the ball.

meh he's ok in the post, but i prefer him operating in iso sets at about the 15-18 foot mark. he will be fine..he's still iffy in the clutch, was great against chicago & portland but horrible against dallas & boston, but aside from that he's returning to form.
His shot is still off but over the past 3 week's he's averaging 29.3/7/3.6 on 60.8 TS% and his shot is off..once it's back on, he's going to be unstoppable.

It's been mentioned already, but KD is very good when he catches the ball 16 feet and in. Although he prefers to face up in these situations, he's able to shoot over guys that close and he's money from that distance.
When he's handling the ball behind the three point line, he's far less effective.

You know an amazing stat about Durant last season..despite the horrible ISO's brooks calls at the end of quarters/the 4th, he was the 2nd best ISO player among the big 5(LBJ, Kobe, Wade, Melo, & KD) only behind LeBron in PPP in ISO sets

this is how I feel we should be trying to move him in not out
as long as he is a 3 his size advantage will make it hard to guard
