Oklahoma City Thunder @ Indiana Pacers 11/26/2010

Post#1 » by slick_watts » Fri Nov 26, 2010 8:47 pm

Another tough road game. Pacers are a good team, better than the team that blew us out last year in Indiana.

Praying for some defense.

not feeling too good about this one.

It seems we have way more defensive breakdowns than last year. Our perimeter defense has been bad as well. Russ gambling like a mad man certainly doesn't help either.

On the bright side I liked KD's defensive effort and focus vs the Mav's. He really only had 1 play that I didn't like.

Its a road game, so I say we got this. Just looking at our record, we're 5-1 on the road and 5-4 at home, with the one loss being the aberration against the Clips. Its still a pretty sample size, but the team seems to be more comfortable handling its business away from the Ford Center.

Krstic will not play tonight, Ibaka will start in his place.

Hopefully the murder scene Roy Hibbert is about to leave behind will convince Brooks not to put Ibaka at center anymore.

To be honest i sometimes don't like Ibaka playing center. I rather give Byron Mullens a try at center.

Yeah, after Darko and Chandler destroyed us inside I figure Hibbert is set to be yet another to have a good game.Should be a good offensive battle, just hope we find a way to pull it off.

Our defense is still bad. Indiana has missed some open looks. Five terrible breakdowns so far by my count leading to four Indy hoops.

This must be bizzarro world because DJ White of all people lead a defensive surge to end that quarter.

3's aren't very kind to us on either end of the floor. Doesn't help fouling them behind the line either.

Jeff Green is terrible. He's lost his man four or five times on the perimeter leading to points and he's just chucking on offense, not moving. He hasn't passed the ball once when he's caught it, I don't think.

he's constantly called a hustle, do the little things guy but he doesn't do any of the intangible's and shoots a ton

that's the opposite

a minor complaint but I think we let Maynor pound the ball a bit much sometimes and end up with some low efficiency shots

I would call that the good and bad of not signing him to a deal this off season.

It's not a minor complaint, our players are allowed to do whatever they want. Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, and Jeff Green are all in complete ball hog mode. Russ has to pass sometimes because he's the PG, but I don't think Green has passed once after getting the ball in our half of the court, and KD is just chucking jumpers on the catch.

The whole team is undisciplined and just flying by the seat of their pants. I'd like Brooks to actually coach the team.

Team is playing selfish and like they are poorly coached. Everyone's chucking, not staying disciplined on rotations, leaving shooters wide open.

DJ White played great but didn't play much, Jeff Green has been horrible on both ends yet has a team high twenty minutes.
