Oklahoma City Thunder @ Houston Rockets 11/28/2010

Post#1 » by slick_watts » Sun Nov 28, 2010 6:14 pm

The Rockets were really our only 'easy' win of the season, so let's hope for more of the same.

Nenad Krstic is supposed to play but Jeff Green is questionable with his ankle again.

I hope Serge Ibaka will start at PF this game and do a better job on Scola than he did last game.
If we win, our road record will be 7-1, which would be huge.
Life may not be the party we hoped for but while we are here we might as well dance!

Jeff Green will play tonight, but Nenad Krstic is out.

Serge Ibaka starting at center. Grr... he is not a center, Brooks.

League Pass isn't working right so I am missing this game. Might be the first Thunder game I'll miss since the second game of the year last season. :(

I wish I couldn't watch this, our defense is garbage.

KD and Green combined for 3-11 shooting in the first D:

KD has two assists tho, so that's good to see.

We lack focus on the defensive side so far. Ibaka was beasting...

We lack more than focus. This is a disgrace, as usual. Maybe we'll get back in this and score enough points to win once Westbrook replaces Maynor so we can be good on offense again.

your negativity is grating on me, and I bet a lot of other people as well. We are not playing perfect basketball, but we are 11-5 and are playing decent ball. With the way you comment you would think we were 2-14 or something.

There's a difference between playing with good energy and losing and playing with poor energy / lazy and losing. The bad defense doesn't irritate you? Especially the way the team played last year.

Right after that Harden doubles for some strange reason off Budinger and we give up the three.

Westbrook is doing whatever it takes to stay in this game. I love him to death.

He's playing bad defense like the rest of the team, and three times since I've been watching his 'go for offensive rebounds' has lead to wrong matchups in transition leading to points for the Rockets.

He gambles on everything, just like the rest of our team, and is undisciplined. KD is playing like crap, but so is the rest of the team. Trying to hit home runs... KD gambling off Battier for the steal or help, three pointer. James Harden doubling off Budinger for no reason, three pointer. Russ gambling for the steal on the pick, open shot for Scola.

Basically all you have to do against our team is move the ball, eventually someone will gamble or over help and you can move the ball to the open man. And everyone on our team is a culprit.

Thunder only down 8 with Westbrook shooting 3-8, and Durant 2-9 (including 3 missed FTs out of 4 attempts between them).

There's hope yet.
