This one could get ugly, especially if we continue to play PF's at C and SF's at PF all game.

Yay, our old team gets to beat down our new team!

But seriously, if durant doesn't have a good game tonight i'm going to be disappointed. I just hope that westbrook's "breakout" season isn't taking away from durant

Should be a fun game with Westbrook vs. Paul. Just hope for you guys that Durant shows up tonight. Good luck, I'm rooting for you guys to win.

Jordan never fully understood basketball. He had the lowest basketball IQ of any NBA "superstar" in history.

They have obviously seen enough tape to know that they can destroy us from the 3pt line.

It'll be 50 games now that we've been playing bad defense stretching to last year compared to 58 games of good defense.

I'm liking Westbrook's aggressiveness, Paul can't stay in front of him right now.

that said Paul has great hands, he has stripped Westbrook like 3 times already.

nice end to that quarter. Ibaka has made a difference in the paint.

A couple of those turnovers Russ had weren't forced, he had his head turned on one of the swipes, then the one toeing the line.

The half court defense looked better after the first timeout.

If we keep moving the ball we'll score against this team.

Good game so far.

Liked that little back-and-forth between Paul and Westbrook early on.

KD looks like his ankle is bothering him. This is how he looked in his second year after he had his ankle injury. His shot does not look right at all.

There are two huge bad habits this team has that has lead to about 15 points for NOH tonight.

The first is that our players fall down on offense all the damn time. Westbrook is the worst with this, but Ibaka does it too, Durant does it, Harden does it. I know they are trying to draw the foul, but when it doesn't work other teams get to go down the floor in transition and they have mismatches. Chris Paul has been doing this all game because Russ either falls down on every shot attempt or goes for his own rebound. I know Russ makes some nice plays going for rebounds and sticking with the play but we give up a lot of points on those too in transition.

The second thing is that this season our defenders are helping with their backs to their man. Thabo, KD, Maynor, and Harden have all done it once on the perimeter that lead to open three point attempts for New Orleans. The one from Maynor as an example, he hedges over to help with Willie Green (for whatever reason) behind the 3pt line and has his back turned to Jarrett Jack who just moves over a bit. When Green reverses and passes the ball to Jack, Maynor tries to recover but can't since he had his back turned. He has to re-locate Jack and he's a couple steps farther away also. When you help like this on the perimeter or play hedge defense you have to keep your man in your peripheral vision. All our defenders have had trouble with this all season, and it's one of the reasons we are giving up such a high 3PT percentage.

I think Ron Adams was the guy who was constantly reminding them of the little things on defense. Without him we seem to not be nearly as fundamental.

This is a game where Kevin Durant's body language is bothering me. He looks like he's hurt or something.

he really isn't doing anything to help this team right now. I wish he would do something else when his shot isnt falling. get down low and try and get as many rebounds as possible, or try and play lockdown defense or something.

He's been boxing out / rebounding the ball well, and he's moving well without the ball. He's made a couple nice passes, and I think his on ball defense has been good.

Just on offense he doesn't look right and his body language when he doesn't have the ball looks weird.
