Detroit Out: Rip
OKC Out: Mo Peterson, Daequan Cook, DJ White, 1st Round Pick
Why for Detroit: Clears the log jam at SG & Cap Space.
Why for OKC: A seasoned vet who's been there. They can still offer Green a nice contract without going into the LT. The only caveat I see is moving Thabo to the bench who truly is their defensive anchor.
Thoughts?

And I'm still not convinced OKC says yes.

Rip is still a very nice player. If the Thunder believe that Rip can come in and make a huge difference then there is a possibility. MoPete, and Cook are as good as gone next season. White can def be had. But, the first round pick included for a guy who is making 14 million this season and 30 million next 2 seasons who is not a big will not happen. This deal will not happen for the reason of the 30 million for the next 2 years and the first round pick.
Deal that could work:
Det Gets: MoPete, Cook, White, and a First
OKC Gets: Monroe and Rip
