Cupcake homestand continues with the cupcake Sacramento Kings.
It has certainly been nice winning the last two games comfortably. I though the defense against Houston left a little bit to be desired in some parts but there isn't much to complain about when you win by double digits.
The defense is slowly trying to creep up to league average. Our shot defense is now 16th in the league, four hundredths of a percentage point from league average after spending most of the year in the bottom five. The offense has been creeping up, too, with our shooting efficiency now 21st in the league which is about where it finished last year.
The Kings, meanwhile, are bad at almost everything. They don't get to the line, they don't shoot well, don't defend well, the only thing they do sort of well is rebound. If you thought Harden was in a sophomore slump, you haven't seen Tyreke Evans this year.
Should be an easy win like the Cavs game but you never know.
