Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Denver Nuggets 12/25/10

Post#1 » by slick_watts » Sat Dec 25, 2010 10:33 pm

Thunder get a nice Christmas gift: game against Denver with no Carmelo.

JR Smith will start in Carmelo's place with Arron Afflalo moving to SF. It'll still be a tough game to win, Denver shoots lights out from 3PT range and will put up points against OKC just like the Knicks did.

With the 10 game stretch we have ahead I would hope they show up from the start. Going to take some grit to have some success these next 10.

Jeff Green's minutes at PF destroy this team.

Durant is getting frustrated at getting the ball every 5 possessions on offense.

Russell Westbrook is crashing down to earth. He's been terrible.

I was really disappointed on the transition three by Billups. Nobody even looked half interested in picking him up.

That's not lack of focus or execution, it's just lack of effort.

Chris Anderson now looks like a cockatoo.

I would already be more willing to give Harden the money Green wants.

I think one of the best laughs I had to myself was following Birdmans suspension was seeing the bilboard on I-35 with a picture of him and the phrase "feel the buzz with the Birdman"

Classic.

Love Harden, hate the defense.

Our over helping and mindless switching is (Please Use More Appropriate Word). Watching Nick Collison help off Al Harrington for no reason is disappointing.

I want Ron Adams back. Our defense needs some smarts.

I didn't want to give Adams that much credit for what he did but maybe its time to?

Jeff Green is TERRIBLE. Why is he playing? Why are we isolating him? Why is he shooting?

It's terribly painful to watch. That and the constant over helping... god we over helped so much then there were like 3 Denver players open resulting in a wide open 3 for Lawson.

Durant should shoot every possession. I'm not even joking, why the hell do we go 5-6 possessions without him taking a shot? I understand it during November..but it's December now

If Jeff Green wasn't playing we'd be winning this game. He's awful.

Green's terrible shooting has caused foul trouble for Ibaka.
