Sefalosha vs. Chandler looking back

I was heart broken when the Thunder revoked a trade for Tyson Chandler citing health issues with his surgically repaired foot, (Humour in the doctor whom performed the surgery being the one warning the Thunder off not withstanding). After a while however a strange thing happened, Thabo whom we received from Chicago for part of the package offered for Chandler, came in and turned the entire team defense around. Sefalosha has himself single handedly won games with lock down D in the 4th quarter, Durant's points and Russel's assists get the glory but I've seen Thabo collect 3 defensive stops in the last 5 minutes of a game, and last year the entire team started playing that way, (which I maybe mistakenly attributed to Thabo rubbing off on his teammates).
This year though the entire team defensive ratings are down, Sefalosha is still playing hard but has looked hampered at times and now Tyson Chandler is looking great doing big things for the Mavericks with not even an in grown toenail in sight. After a couple of years looking back now, were we right to send Chandler back for a Sefalosha refund?
