Oklahoma City Thunder vs Orlando Magic 2/25

After yesterdays huge trade deadline where we acquired Perkins, Nazr, and Nate I'm sure most of us were looking forward to see them in action. Today will not be that day. All of our new players will not play tonight.

Byron was called up from Tulsa to help fill out the roster. The guys that we will have tonight are

Westbrook/Maynor/Ivey
Sefolosha/Harden/Cook
Durant
Ibaka
Collison/Aldrich/BJ

Brooks has already said that RW/TS/KD/SI/NC will be the starting lineup. It will be interesting to see who will back up Ibaka at PF sense Collison is starting at C.

Tonight will be a very hard game to win for a couple of reasons.

1) Ibaka/Collison/Aldrich/Byron is all we have down low to try to cover Howard. Collison is also the only one who can really play the backup PF so that leaves aldrich and BJ to cover howard :banghead:

2) Players will be very emotional tonight with one of their best friends, Green, leaving

3) Howard was PISSED with his team last game, I expect them to come out and play one of their best games of the year

Look my magic team kinda suck this year, you can have the game since magic have no other way around this whole mess (losing to the kings?). Anyways good luck tonights match up. Its amazing that the magic had once a great team in 2009, but all that is gone and now you guys are the uprising team but for the west. I always like OKC in the west for couple years now so keep it up and win the finals if the magic don't make it. Peace

This will be a good game and I will be there tonight. I really like Durant and Perkins well lets just say the Magic are glad he is not out east anymore, because he was the only player that could play Dwight straight up. Magic have had a bad stretch and Dwight did get mad, but consistency is our main problem. Anyways, peace out and good luck out west.

Thanks for the thread.

I'm eager to see how the guys respond. I expect a lot of small ball. We won against Orlando and Dwight had 37/17 so I don't think it's out of the question we take this one. Will need big games from Harden / Ibaka.

Sources tell me kevin durant may be going for kobe's 81 today. teammates are rumored to be thrilled with this and will be passing KD the ball every trip down the floor.

Let's see what Cole Aldrich is made of.

I LOATHE the fact that Harden is still not starting. This is the perfect opportunity to make the transition and its clear its not going to happen....ever.

3 minutes in and we have a +5 rebound advantage.

I like.

Playing great defense until Thabo leaves Richardson open for 3 two possessions in a row.

Why is Harden not starting, again? He's a better defender than Thabo at this point anyway.

It's high comedy watching Thabo clap his hands for entire possessions, alone on the perimeter, and nobody pass to him.

Collison and Ibaka have been very active on offense. Stick Harden in there and we'll get something going.

I'm not happy with how Russ is playing. Forcing way too much.

Harden is amazing to watch. So glad we drafted him over Reke. He has really proven to be the perfect fit here.

Harden is smooth... Nice to watch, indeed.

Terrible shooting, TO a lot.

Collison did good, Ibaka not that good. Aldrich looked good, but kinda nervous.

Obviously Brooks decided he'd rather go small than play Mullens.

Don't exactly blame him.

Mullens is still in Tulsa, couldn't get to Orlando in time.

Aldrich is destined to be a foul machine.

Did not know that.
