Showing hard on the PnR is something we've been doing ever since Scott Brooks took over. I don't expect that to change.

This is a really good way to defend the pick and roll against most teams.
Problems would arise against teams where the big man, who is setting the screen can knock down the jumber. Otherwise I think Perkins should not bother too much showing hard on a screen and roll play. His job is exactly to stay in position and protect the paint.

Like I said, it would be a different story against someone like Luis Scola for instance, but most teams dont have a good shooting C.

with Perk and Ibaka, who do we want to go out on the perimeter? Ibaka is probably better at hedging the PnR but we would lose his shot blocking inside. Perk is slower but we would lose his toughness inside.

Ibaka cause he moves much faster than Perkins I believe. But I'm fine so long as we don't leave 3 point specialist free on the perimeter. We start from there first and move to other defensive plays
