Oklahoma City Thunder @ Miami Heat 03/16/2011

Post#1 » by slick_watts » Wed Mar 16, 2011 4:36 pm

We saw some encouraging things the other night against a horrible Washington team, now we get the true test. Last game against Miami, the Thunder fell apart late because they couldn't rebound the ball. That shouldn't be an excuse anymore.

This will be a very tough game with the way Miami is playing. We'll need big games from our bench players, and defending the 3pt line will be important.

I was going to attend this game earlier in the year but now it doesn't look like I'll be able to, which of course means it's going to be a blowout Thunder victory.

I'm just stopping by to wish u good luck and I think Miami's frontline wont handle urs, Bosh is too soft. I see u guys winning by 10 or more this game unless Durant and Westbrook have real bad games. ;)
Good assessment:

I expect this to be really good game. Momentum is on our side, I think we want to win more than them at the moment.

Im curious how Durant will handle LeBron. Also, Im expecting us to win the rebounding battle, as this will be key tonight.

I rewatched the end of the last game we played them, you know when we were up by 1 with 20 secs to go, Wade missed the jumper and Green failed to boxout Miller which led to an Eddie House 3 and then next posession, Wade misses a FT, they are up by 3 with 9 secs to go and we fail to get the rebound by putting Green, Collison and WESTBROOK to rebound the ball and then Green again missed to boxout, this time Bosh and they got the rebound.

Should NOT happen again with our new bigs :)
Life may not be the party we hoped for but while we are here we might as well dance!

It'd be nice for Durant to get the chip off his shoulder and finally beat LeBron.

It's gonna be tough tho. Ibaka has to win the battle against Bosh.

Seems to be a problem scoring at the rim tonight. So far its looking promising.

Whats KD's 3pt% looking like this month?

Ugly stretch there, but still up 1 at the half.

This game reminds me of the Spurs game in terms of momentum swings. I hope it doesn't end the same way...
