Oklahoma City Thunder vs Phoenix Suns 3/30

Post#1 » by fallacy » Wed Mar 30, 2011 8:24 pm

Nick Collison is still day to day right now and no official word right now if he'll play or not. I'll go out on a limb and say we lose if he doesn't play.

Pietrus, Gortat, and Carter are all DTD, I don't know if any of them will play or not. If Carter does play it should be fun to watch him hit another 9 threes against us like he always does.

Question of the Day: Who's the bigger Thunder-killer, Bargnani, Stephen Curry, or Vince Carter?

our coach has a bizarre tendency to go away from the pnr at the end of games and starts running set plays for 3 point shots so i have a feeling if this comes down to the wire y'all will pull it out

Ibaka is so good...

I'd like to see him playing next no Nash.

Great 1st quarter by Ibaka. The defense was uneven, you dont' want to be giving Phoenix offensive rebounds.

Ibaka is a mix of Dwight Howard, Kevin Garnett, and Bill Russell.

Pretty good half offensively, but defense has been poor. Ibaka switched on Nash PnR's a few times late and that was just silly.

I love Ibaka, but he's really poor at PnR defense against a good guard, and especially when the big can pop. Our guards (Westbrook) aren't great defensing it either.

Gotta tighten up the PnR defense, and throw a hard foul on VC.

First PnR of the third quarter, they switch and Gortat gets the open dunk.

We are not going to beat a team like Dallas in the playoffs. Our team does not know how to defend PnR.

Starters struggle to generate offense in the third quarter.

James Harden should really be starting.

Nice to see the bench crew getting it going. Harden's missing some FTA but playing well.

Harden is the man! 2nd unit doing a great job. Now if only KD and Russ wouldn't ignore him down the stretch of games.

James Harden does a great job of getting a long way on two steps. He manages to draw a lot of fouls and get a lot of layups just because people aren't expecting him to get to the rim from where he picks up his dribble.

Also, it feels like this team has been able to withstand poor games from key players since the trade. Part of this is the weak opponents, but part of this has been Harden and Ibaka's ability to step up and perform, and some of our other bench players chipping in.
