Jackson, Adelman, & Sloan...

If we're ever going to get a competent coach, and we could most definitely use one, the time is now. Hopefully, Presti has noticed the obvious and will be aggressive in improving our coaching staff this off season. It's a must if we're ever going to compete for a title, because as is, we're playing checkers while everyone else is playing chess.

Also, a new coach could potentially do wonders for the development of Ibaka, Harden, Westbrook, and Durant. Especially the latter, who needs work on the mental aspects of the game. Durant has to stop settling for 35 foot jumpers, and he can't check out of games late. Also, he needs to work on getting himself easier looks, especially in the paint. He's 6'11, he should be taking Battier and Allen down low and doing work. He could literally dominate them, and 90% of the defenders pitted against him if he added a post game to his repertoire. I think a competent coach, could help develop this aspect of his game.

As for Phil hes going to retire, and Adelman might be going to Lakers. Sloan I'm not sure about him...

Phil is going to coach again, and Adelman to LA isn't a done deal.

If we don't go after Adelman or Sloan after multiple collapses in these playoffs, I'll be sorely disappointed.

Although I never liked the Jazz, I always thought that they were overachieving because they have a good system, good coach, etc.
I think Sloan would be very good for our team as Im sure he would get all the respect from these young guns and is also knows as a systems coach, which is what we need.

My first choice would be Sloan for sure.
