Re: Draft
Considering this team just made the Western conference finals I'm hoping Presti drafts to the future instead of the now because this team is only going to get better. I'd like to see him draft another Ibaka type player and stash him overseas for a year or two so he can mature into a stud.

Re: Draft
I think the range the Thunder are picking in has a lot of potential for offensive minded role players, which is where I hope the Thunder look. Guards like Reggie Jackson or Charles Jenkins. A bigger guy like Justin Harper. Those three would be the guys I'd consider at #24. I don't like Singler, and I don't like a stash pick like Mirotic.
Two guys I'd trade up into the teens for would be Jordan Hamilton or Nikola Vucevic.

Re: Draft
I prefer a guy who has some positional versatility.
Either a combo guard, SG/SF, SF/PF or PF/C. Only way they're going to get sufficient time. Would prefer SG/SF or SF/PF more than the other 2. Depends what's the plan with Latavious Williams as well.
If we get someone like Nikola Vucevic it probably meant that Mullens will be gone for sure. I prefer a Justin Harper or Jimmy Butler a combo forward to allow durant rest time and with 3 point range to stretch the floor.

Re: Draft
Ibaka and Mullens are evidence of Presti's willingness to draft developmental prospects in this range. Presti worked out both Josh Selby and Cory Joseph and might select a guard despite the current roster, knowing the d-league is an available development tool.

That was at different time with a different need. With the team needing just minor adjustment now, if we don't select a 4 year collage guy, i think Presti must be super high on that guy.

Re: Draft
Well out of our whole bench, Maynor probably has the highest value (I don't consider Harden part of the bench). Would make sense if Presti think we are unable to offer Maynor the extension he deserves in future or the minutes to develop. Nate will probably see backup minutes next season then.

I really hope its for Klay Thompson instead

Sources say the Thunder have been quietly gauging interest in Maynor during the past few days in an attempt to move up into the top half of the first round. They've spoken to the Kings (No. 7) and Bobcats (No. 9) in particular in the past few days.
If we can get a lotto pick for Maynor I would do it. Especially if Presti has fallen in love with one of those guys. I can't see it being Jonas when last year Presti drafted Aldrich and Pleiss

Re: Draft
It is Jonas. Pleiss could be part of the deal as well.
Maynor is one of the best backup points in the game. I do not think Jonas will fall after all of this. But, I do not aggree with trading a top-7 rotation guy in someone who might come over in two seasons. The Magic are still waiting for their guy to come over.

Well that makes zero sense.
Maynor made good strides this season and to give him up for someone who may be just like Fran Vasquez would not seem to be a smart plan. Then you replace those minutes with a rookie or Nate Rob. I just don't see the logic.

Re: Draft
Don't see why would we need another big? But I would rather not trade Maynor he's the best back-up pg we have. I rather trade Nate or Ivey, but it will never happen. If I was Sam I would go for a sf for KD to back-up. But what ever Sams doing I would be ok with.....

Re: Draft
I like using Eric Maynor to trade up if Presti feels there's a difference maker to be had. Maynor is a decent back up but he's not amazing, he's 24 and probably won't get much better than he is, and we'll probably lose him in a couple years anyway. Presti understands the value of cheap rookie scale talent and getting another contributor on four year rookie scale would be fantastic.

But isn't Cavs using their 4 pick to get this guy?
