He has great size and the athletic ability for his position like our last 24th pick.

He's a great shooter. I think he has huge potential.

He has great length, athleticism and pace. He seems good at changing pace with the ball and might have some advanced ball handling skills. I think he has the tools to be a good defender at either guard position.

His shooting mechanics look okay, his release is not quick. He shot great this year but struggled his last two. Outside shooting percentages can be a volatile thing. I wouldn't expect Jackson to be a 38-40% 3PT shooter right away. He seems to have a nice mid range game, and he's a good finisher.

He might have a bit of an adjustment period to the pros. It's a solid pick and can potentially fill a hole. Much better than someone like Singler, for sure.

So where's Maynor going?

I think this kid could be a nice draft pick. Looks like he has hops and can shoot.

Seems quick and a solid rebounder as well.

Actually maybe I should be asking where is Westbrook is going?

I don't see Maynor moved until the trade deadline. I think Presti/Brooks like their guys to learn the set abit and get comfortable before playing them minutes.

Looks like Nazr is coming back and Cook might not.

No one is going anywhere. (Except maybe Cook). Jackson is a combo guard. He's not chasing either of our point guards out of town.

Yeah seriously! I know it's unlikely and personally I would only give Westbrook up for an extended Dwight, but it's still a legit question Slick.

Honestly Presti wouldn't be doing his job if we wasn't listening to offers. It's called due diligence.

But that would have everything to do with Dwight Howard and absolutely nothing to do with Reggie Jackson, so what does it have to do with this topic?

Presti has confirmed that Jackson met with the Thunder privately.

I like this pick. He is very versatile( can play the 1 or 2, can pass, can drive and finish at the rim, can shoot the 3, and can defend).

Now for Presti to flip Nate into a bigger expiring. An Okur or Diaw trade.

Jazz has 5 bigs in Millsap/Al Jeff/Favors/Kanter and Okur.

Ummm I don't want to trade Westbrook. Never have but I am open to ideas, you have to be willing to listen to offers otherwise you are being very narrow minded and short sighted.

And who said I'm not happy that the team made it to the WCF? That has nothing to do with Presti drafting a PG when they have the best one two rotation in all of the NBA. Something doesn't fit.

I don't see this kid sitting on the pine rotting like Royal Ivey.

According to Darnell, Sam Presti said that the Thunder did workout Reggie Jackson.

Chad Ford reported that OKC never promised to draft Jackson. That the promise was from Miami. It seems as if Riley convinced Jackson and his agent that Jackson would get a first round equivalent contract at #31 and a chance to start in Miami. Jackson in turn agreed to not only not workout for teams, but not even interview. It was an ambitious scheme to steal a talented player.

Presti is saying that Jackson met and worked out with the Thunder, though.
