Training Camp Discussion

Post#1 » by slick_watts » Sat Nov 26, 2011 5:30 pm

Well, it looks like there will be a season. So we can all get back to talking about what matters...

Will Thabo Sefolosha still be starting?
Will Kendrick Perkins be able to jump over a phone book?
Will Cole Aldrich be useful?
Will Serge Ibaka set better screens?
Will Kevin Durant learn how to get open?

Probably the biggest question from now to the start of the season is Russell Westbrook's extension status.

Go Thunder!

All I know is that KP is 100% back to his old self again, and in shape too. And Serge is going to come back next month right? And Harden needs to start... RW just hope he don't you know... BUT GOO OKC!!!

Hope Perkins and Ibaka can pass the ball and improve their chemistry, they're a nice defensive fit. Hope Ibaka can get a more consistent jumper to improve our spacing. Hope this team can turn less the ball over, our backcourt dynamic with HardBrook to improve and Durant can get better shots.

Hope Scott Brooks work with better rotations. Even with him struggling to send to court some well balanced line-ups, this team ran deep in the playoffs and prove they're way too good. Just hope Brooks don't hold back this team.

Will Harden be starting for you guys this year?

The thunders offense seemed to have much better down the stretch scoring with him in.

Looks like we're buying out Nate's contract.

Stealing this from the Mavs board.

HMFFL wrote:I think this is great news if Cuban is set on extending JJ Barea. I mentioned a number of times that I think Barea's agent would focus on the $4.5 million that Robinson makes in contract discussions with Cuban/Nelson. Now, I think JJ Barea is going to receive much less, because I doubt Nate Robinson sees $4.5 million per year again.

If Cuban is set on extending JJ Barea I hope his salary maxes out at $2 million per year.

Nate Robinson will be bought out by #Thunder so he can become free agent. They tried to do this before the lockout. Working on it now #nba Link

Both Thabo and Ibaka has NBA out iirc. They should be back for the new season. If only Thabo bringing his euroleague offence back to the NBA.

Durant says he's at 235 which is what I believe he said he weighed when last offseason ended. Perkins does look a lot better.

Don't know what he weighs, but he definitely looks to have added muscle.

Apparently Chris Bosh is scared of us. I guess Durant calling him out scared him

Bosh says e'one is talking about everyone else in NBA, but nobody talking about OKC. Worries him. "All they get to do is work, work, work."

I don't think he is scared, just respects the work the team puts in.

OKC and Indy are two my two favorites to win the Chauncey bidding. Will be an upset if he slips thru.
