Dwight Howard will get a chance to see the OKC Regulators up close and personal when he plays them opening night.
Merry X-mas Dwight you get to be pummeled by the best team in the league this year. Take a good hard look at OKC and see if you want to win rings or do you want to be all, knocked off, bling? Because when it comes down to greatness measured in the NBA it's counted on fingers not in your back pocket. There is plenty of money in all the markets if you really think about it. I know this is basic **** but 8mil is a lot of freakin' coin period.
I know Dwight has laid it all out there. He wants to win he wants help and there is no real help in Orlando. Who are also locked up pretty tight with the cap. So no one is coming in outside the draft. And that's not the kind of help Dwight needs. He needs real help. Orlando tried they just kept striking out, taking bigger and bigger risks.
Take a long look at the OKC Regulators, Howard. They are young with a lot of firepower. You'd fit in really nicely.
Side note though. My personal opinion is that Howard is gone. I think he is leaving Orlando. If Dwight turned to his agent and said "Have them trade me for Chris Bosh, if they don't trade me to Miami I will walk and leave them with nothing at the end of the year." does anyone turn it down?
I think Pat Riley would say yes faster than the guy could get the words out. And I don't know if Orlando could get a single better piece than Bosh.
Is Westbrook better than Bosh? OK well let's say, is he worth more? Or both?
