Glad to have basketball back. Darnell reports that Thabo will be starting and not to expect anyone getting more than 24 minutes.

If Thabo can hit that 3 pointer with a bit more regularity and the ball moves quicker and more often i think the starting 5 could work.

I'm also curios to see if Nazr is still ahead of Cole on the depth chart.

I don't think defenses will ever respect Thabo's shooting... the lineup isn't so much of an issue in the regular season but it was picked apart by the good playoff teams. The ball moving quicker and more often seems difficult to me with so many ball stoppers...

I dunno. Everyone except maybe Ibaka is a known quantity offensively in the starting lineup. Not sure where major offensive improvement will come from, especially against smart, veteran playoff teams like Dallas, LAL, etc.

The offense looks terrible and Ibaka's been awful defensively.

Perkins has looked good on both ends, KD's been okay, everyone else mediocre. Dallas ignoring Ibaka / Sefolosha on defense forcing Russ / KD into tough decisions offensively.

Please start James Harden, Scott Brooks.

It's preseason but if the offense is this sloppy in a week they're in trouble. 10 first quarter turnovers!!

D. Cook looks terrific on defense. If we're not going to start Harden why not start Cook. The guy attracts so much attention behind the arc, makes running an offense so much easier.

Everything just run much smoother with Harden in the game. Durant pulled out the Dirk move. Cole looked much better than at any point last year.

Looked good overall. Perkins looked fantastic. Second unit looked great. Durant pulling the Dirk move.

Westbrook was a bit... excited, early on. Ibaka got in foul trouble early and was a non-factor. Sefolosha still too much of a non-factor offensively to justify starting.

And I'd be all for starting Daequan Cook if we want to keep Harden coming off the bench.

The second unit looks SO much worse with Hayward out there instead of Cook.

Turnovers sucked, Fg% was great. Holding Dallas to 38% fg was a positive too.

Hard to read anything into it though, as its preseason.

Westbrook - Loved the way he played tonight, besides the early turnovers. Was under control and played within him self. If he can continue to do that we are a much better team. Also, is it just me or has Russ gotten more athletic? It seemed like he was jumping higher when going up for layups.

Maynor - same as last year, good 3 point shooter, steady eddy, below average defense, and cant create his own shot consistently.

Jackson - good ball handler, and did ok for a rookie PG. cant really determine much from just this game from him, he was pretty passive.

Sefolosha - Was solid, made a 3, and looked confident which is the most important thing for him.

Harden - looked more confident in the 1st half, but in the 2nd he struggled with the aggressive defense. I think he will perform like the post-trade of last year which is really good all-around.

Durant - looked good, seemed to have better handles and was playing smart basketball.

Hayward - love him, he works hard, and can shoot the ball. Got lost a few times defensively but that's ok, he has only been with the team for a couple days.

Ibaka - struggled tonight, didn't have a lot of confidence for some reason. Hopefully this is just an hicup.

Collison - same old same old, which is really damn good and our best fundamental guy.

Perkins - WOW, what else can you say other then that? he looks like a different guy out there. He has bounce in his step and moved around really well. He is going to be great this year I have a feeling, him and Russ.

Mohammed - struggled, but thats expected he is old and doesn't have many miles left in the tank.

Aldrich - looks like he is moving better and thinking the game at a faster pace. Do you think he can take Mohammed's spot now or wait another year?

all in all a great 1st pre-season game, we had some rust obviously with the turnovers, but I liked the effort, energy and ball movement was better then all of last year. I think Westbrook and Perkins are going to show the biggest improvement this year, can't wait for it to unfold.
