Had a feeling something like this would happen after he didn't play last night.

Also we get back the pick he sent out for Hayward. Higher pick too.

So can we expect another DJ White or is Mullens still too raw to really contribute?

DJ is light years better than Mullens.

I would think this says alot about how the Thunder feel about Ivey and Reid.

It is a 2013 second round pick.

White was more ready, Mullens has the better potential cause he's a 7 footer, if he can somehow fulfill that next to a defensive Biyombo, you guys made a good trade.

Glad that the pick should be before 40.

If Mullens figured it out as a 7 footer that is pretty athletic, he could be worthwhile. I just don't think he has it in him to "figure it out"

So I should expect more lulz for the lolcats. Awesome.

That 2013 pick will essentially be a first-rounder unless there's protection on it.

I'm not sure about that. His time had run out with the Thunder but he is only 22.
He might just need some more time to mature
He will get that with Charlotte

Mullens played 20 minutes tonight in a bobcat win. He had 10 points on 5/7 shooting and led the team's +/-

I was pleasantly surprised at his performance. As someone on the Bobcats forum said, he's basically a 7' SG. He's certainly not a post player but it's nice to have a big man with his range.

glad he's getting a chance. Presti and co are good talent evaluaters. Just the defensive fit doesn't always work out

He never got much of a chance here and the chances he did get were brief with him looking very confused and overwhelmed. On the other side, he's 7', fairly agile, and can really jump... So I'm sure he'll get a 10MM/yr contract at some point...

B.J, Mullens

Haven't heard from him since that one year when he was a bad freshman

He scored a career high for the bobcats
His jumper was water, Presti might have finally made a bad trade

DJ White has been great for us too. Got any more benchwarmers you can send our way?

If Byron can develop some basic rebounding skills, he could be a solid piece to play beside Biyombo going forward. If not, well, at least the guy can shoot.

Thank god this guy got suspended. How would be trading away your 5th best center that will never play a bad trade? *sigh*

If anything, if Mullens does well in Charlotte is would show just how good Presti is at seeing talent.

Great that both has been getting minutes. Mullens would be lucky if he can develop to anywhere close like a channing frye.

You are correct, but damn if he isn't putting up some good numbers for the lolcats. Did anyone in 2010 guess that Mullins would be the one doing well and Aldrich not so much? Yeah, me either. My first thought was that Presti made a mistake trading him, but knowing that he would never see the light of day in OKC softened my stance on it considerably.

Anyone else expecting him to have a 'revenge game' statline when the lolcats play the Thunder next?
