Forget trading Westbrook, just move him off the ball some
I think Harden as the primary ball-handler with Westbrook being a secondary ball-handler and designated slasher/cutter can be very effective (and was for brief periods during the playoffs last year). If Westbrook really isn't a "pure point guard", or whatever, we don't have to trade him, just put him into more comfortable situations and stop asking him to be something he isn't.

that's kinda what I envisioned when we drafted Harden but then Westbrook took off and Harden took longer to develop
the fact that so far it doesn't seem Westbrook has corrected his propensity for less than ideal pg decision making (and if not this year it probably won't ever be completely corrected) it makes sense to give the more under control Harden the general ball handling responsibilities but keep westbrook the primary play maker
of course that would mean starting him which would make too much sense

Would actually not be bad, but if Russ is playing 34 minutes at the SG, then where will Harden get his minutes from?
Life may not be the party we hoped for but while we are here we might as well dance!

Too bad Harden is a shooting gaurd , so playing him at the point gaurd is just plain stupid . He would be the slowest pg in the league .

You've clearly never watched Jason Kidd, or Grievis Vasquez, or even Eric Maynor.

Kidd is old he used to be fast over time he learned to play good D without speed similar to Fisher.
I'm not gonna argue about how bad an idea of having Harden play point is when every half brain knows he would be more efficient and comfortable at the 2

If you can't express your opinions without this kind of stuff you're not going to be around here much longer.

This is the same guy who thinks Ibaka has the same impact as KG.

If you've watched Harden run the point for the Thunder before you wouldn't have much of a case to be made. Harden at the 1 and Westbrook at the 2 gashed the elite Dallas offense in game 5 of last year's playoffs. They didn't have a clue how to stop the bleeding.

^Wasn't Westbrook benched the entire 4th Q? That win was all Harden.
