Moving to Seattle

Post#1 » by chifro63 » Wed Apr 4, 2012 7:24 pm

I'm moving to Seattle next month from Florida and I was wondering how many people from Seattle root for the Thunder. From what I've read its 50-50. If there are Thunder fans, does anyone know what sports bar(s) I should go to for OKC playoff games.

92 views and not 1 response? Was the question I asked that ridiculous? :(

I grew up a Sonics fan. I'll root for the Thunder, but certainly not in the same way I did for the SSS. It's more because Durant is a likable star, and the management clearly knows what they're doing, than anything else. The Thunder aren't the Sonics. That's not taking away from either team/organization, but they're not the same.

Where on earth did you read that? Other than the half dozen or so on this board, I don't think there are any. But by all means, if you don't believe me, go ahead and wear your Blunder jersey when you go to Seattle sports bars and judge their reactions for yourself. I dare ya! :D
