The draft doesn't hold the same importance for the Thunder as it has in years past, but if you never stop trying to improve the team, the question for this year is are their any prospects that might improve the team?

The Thunder own their own first round pick, currently projected at the end of the first round and traded their second round pick in the acquisition of Lazar Hayward.

The Thunder own the rights to previous second round draft pick Tibor Pleis.

Draft to develop in Tulsa, draft international player to stash overseas, trade pick for future picks or second round pick/cash considerations, what are you thoughts?

One guy I really like that should be in the 20's is Doron Lamb, a SG from Kentucky. He is a stone cold killer from 3 point range, 49% from 3 last year and 47% from 3 this year. He is about the same size as Daequn Cook, but is the more well rounded pprospect. He can handle the ball a bit, can create his own shot from the midrange area, and is a solid defender.

His weaknesses is lack of great athleticism, not a great finisher around the basket, not a pure PG and doesn't have 1 great trait, except 3 point shooting. That said, he would fill Cook's role extremely well and do other things as well.

He has been a role player his 2 years at Kentucky, in the shadows behind Knight, Teague, Davis, Kidd-Gilchrist so he shouldn't have much of an adjustment period IMO.

I think they need to target a SG for Hardens replacement.

Or stash a Euro overseas.

I would look at Fab Melo

I think that adding a center in the mix like Melo could hopefully give Presti the flexibility to look at moving Perkins in the near future

Wow, I worked on a whole OKC draft options list and a breakdown of my top 10 choices, only to get a "no post specified" message.

Anyways I talked about options for the pick, if Sullinger falls to 15-20 (which I very highly doubt), I'd love to make a move for him. Other then that I am really high on Andrew Nicholson as he can score with his back to the basket and in the post. Not a big fan of Fab Melo, will have a Hasheem Thabeet impact in the NBA.

Fab Melo isn't better than Cole Aldrich.

I liked what Nikola Vucevic could bring to this team last season and I still like what a player in his mold could bring to us. Cole Aldrich should have rotation minutes, still.

Our perimeter guys are fine imo, and if we can't keep Harden and/or Ibaka then Thunder trade them. Westbrook/Jackson/Maynor/Harden/Sefolosha/Durant/Coook -> Fine imo.

Two decent options would be to trade up a bit to get Moultrie or stay put or trade back a bit and take Kevin Jones.
