It's started. I hope the Thunder wait until next year to do something to Artest. I'd hate for them to do something stupid and have it bite them in the ass when it matters the most.

59-44 at the half.
Very solid first half by the Thunder.
Bynum has gotten his way so far and the bigs are out-rebounding us but other than that we're pretty good on both ends of the floor.
Westbrook playing great, with 17 points, 6 assists and NO turnovers.

Stat of the first half: only ONE turnover for OKC!!
Thunder have 8 steals and 1 TO, Lakers have 1 steal and 8 turnovers...thats HUGE

the thing I was impressed with the most was only 4 turnovers. If we can keep that # under 10 I think we can win this in 5.

Really excited about the fact that we were focused and energized for 48 minutes.

Agree... realgm is pretty dead as far as the thunder board is concerned. In any case.. great game for OKC, and glad to see this series start out so well. Weird part about games like this is that I think this was probably the best collective effort by the team (almost everyone had great or at least above average games), is there is nowhere to go but down. Hopefully they can come back just as on top of things as they were tonight!

It's going to take some of you dedicated Thunder fans that are here to step it up a bit if you want to get more people to stick around when they stop by. All you you guys really need to start some good discussions and really put effort in them. I bet you a bunch of Thunder fans have came by and saw the lack of discussion here and left. If you guys really step up your game on there, more and more people who come by won't leave, but instead contribute.

On your game day threads, really contribute a lot to it. Like tonight should be something to talk about and really get excited. It's going to take persistence and patience, but if you're diligent enough, it will pay off.

The Thunder are way too good to have such a small fan base here. Meanwhile teams like the T'Wolves and Raptors have huge fan bases here.

Sure, no problem. I sort of miss doing that since the Blazers' season is now over. I do that all the time on the Blazer board.

Great game one. No one besides Westbrook really had a "great" game and Bynum can't play any better than he did tonight.

it is which I don't understand

It's the same everywhere in terms of thunder boards

Why is it that a team this good that fills up home games has such little fans on forums?

LOL, that sums up his brain pretty much! :D

Yeah, really good game last night, I don't think we could've done many things better, except maybe interior rebounding and a better job on Bynum. But hey, we all know that Bynum can have games like that if he shows up. Last night he showed up but we still blew them out, so who cares?
Based on the game he had, they should have feeded him the ball all night long and give him 25 shots instead of just 12!! Which is probably another credit to the Thunder defense.
The 4 turnovers is a dream (also 13 steals), while LA had only 1 steal and 15 turnovers.
Im sure we wont keep that up, but we also dont have to blow them out by 30 every game, right?
My guess is that Lakers will win eventually 1 game (probably game 3), but we match up so well against them and we are so much better than them that we should be able to dominate them in this series.

Oh and yeah, the board is pretty empty, even much more empty than last year, but I try to check in every day and post a thread or leave a comment, so hopefully it will pick up soon.
Life may not be the party we hoped for but while we are here we might as well dance!

So i am new here. Honestly i'm a Orlando Magic Fan since 89, but as a fan of Thabo Sefolosha, i become a huge thunder fan too. The Supersonics never meant anything to me, but since they're moved to Oklahoma City and the new franchise was built, i started to watch their games all the time.

The Franchise OKC is still brand new, it needs some time to start something even on a forum like this one, but the team is totally on the right way. Like Shem said, start some good discussions on this board and the people will show up. Use the ideas to make a game thread from other franchises, and take a good mod from the start who gets the forum clean everyday 8-)
Btw, i'm from switzerland too, just like Thabo! I still would be an OKC-Fan even when Thabo leaves. But i really hope that does not happen in the next few years. He matches so damn good to that team, even he doesn't score that much, his defense is terrific. I love to see how he guards Kobe everytime. He did an great job on Kobe at last night's game too.

What do you guys think of Thabo? Still good that Harden does not start the game?

By the way, please don't judge me if the phrases i wrote are not that good english, i try to. Thx.

Honestly we used to have 2 or 3 pages for the regular season game threads. Slick disappeared, wiff got banned, and a bunch of us like posting on the GB game threads. It's just a weird combo. I enjoy our small board though, I dunno about anyone else.
