Such a great team like the thunder who fill up home games as great as they do need more fans posting and bring active.
It's shocking how little activity there is on here and other thunder boards in general.
Time for more thunder fans to post and post a lot

There is a big thunder forum elsewhere, where most of the Thunder fans online hang out. I won't plug them here, but it exists.

Last season there was some activity, but this season we have less things to complain about, so it became a little dead.

There's Internet in OKC? All this time I thought this forum was for fans from other cities to talk about Oklahoma.
I kid.

Totally agree, but they want everyone to read all of their biased blog postings instead of allowing the community to create conversations themselves.

Then bring them over here.

I don't know if this is the norm in other cities, but of all of the diehard Thunder fans I know in OKC, I doubt there is another one that would know what RealGM is...

Definitely agree it's pretty empty. I just don't understand the confusion of lack of popularity of this particular site with lack of popularity of the team and/or inability of the state to use the internet. It is fairly interesting that I have more comments on my wall on facebook about this game FROM WOMEN in okc than are in this game thread.

My goal will be to create more topics to get more talk flowing and get this place active.

I've never understood the Daily Thunder appeal myself, cept Royce does a great job of collecting Thunder media stories. Its a good place for information.
But that type of forum is impossible to read. I don't intend this to be critical of DT, but I don't have time to wade through hundreds of comments.
Here's a site that has been around since the Hornets in OKC days. It may not fit the hard core NBA hoops fan'a tastes, its really more of a " fan board " . But its much better organized forum than Daily Thunder's hog pile of comments.
http://www.okcthunderfans.com/vforum/index.phpAnd just pure speculation on my part, but I think maybe this forum has somewhat intimidated ( for lack of a better word ) many OKC Thunder fans, cause many are new NBA fans and are learning the intricacies of a new game. This particular forum is really the old Seattle Supersonics forum and there are still posters here from those days. Many I know just never felt comfortable here.

BTW, there's always several in the chat room at OKCThunder fans. The game thread in the forums is the least active.
