If Perkins can't go will we see more small ball when Mohammed is on the bench or would Aldrich get some floor time? I predict Brooks will go small.

Ibaka only played 20 minutes in game one, if fouls aren't a problem can we expect to see him with 30 or more minutes? I loved the way he was face guarding and making Gasol work in game 1.

Durant will be key tonight. Artest will attempt to be even more physical, they may even double Durant to a try and create some turnovers. Durant's response to the challenge will tell us a lot about his ability to be effective in these situations and the overall potential of the team.

I thought Durant made a good adjustment in game one by pulling up for the foul line jumper rather than trying to take it all the way to the rim. Commentator Reggie Miller didn't like it, but the move kept smaller guards from going after the ball and kept Bynum from hammering on Durant. Durant had zero turnovers in game one.

I don't understand why OKC doesn't clear a side of the floor for Durant on critical iso drives, like Dallas does for Nowitzki. It always seems like Durant is trying to get through 4-5 defenders.

Good to see Perk in the lineup, hopefully he will stay healthy.
Wonder what adjustments the Lakers can make this game, Im guessing going more inside to the bigs is one key.
We need to keep getting to the FT line, so a lot of penetration.
Hopefully we can get a 10 point lead early in the first half again.
I would like to see a statement game on the defensive end from OKC, keeping LA under 40 pts in the first half.

Lets get it started!!

LAL defense was absolutely incredible. That's the best defensive game I think I've ever seen played against this Thunder roster. Props to the defense in this game. Perkins was terrific on Bynum in the second half, Harden / Thabo / Durant were all great on Kobe. Pau wasn't a factor in the 2nd half.

LAL can't play defense like this again. Series is over IMO.

Committed to some work projects... will probably be in and out again until June. Didn't think there was gonna be a season this year so I overextended myself a bit. :)

Has he ever botched a game this badly in the playoffs in the closing minutes?

http://blog.newsok.com/thunderrumblings/2012/05/18/checking-in-with-perk/

On what he said to Westbrook after Steve Blake missed the 3-pointer:

"I just told Russ he did his job on sagging in because I felt like which one would we rather have? Blake taking the 3 or Kobe taking the 3? I'd rather Blake take the last shot of the game and Russ did a good job of just trusting himself and getting a late contest. Even though he had a good look, I'd rather (have) that than Kobe (shoot it)."

Letting Blake open was by design? Could our coaching team really think of something like this or more of a revisionist version of event.
