Nevermind I thought Thunder would be able to force the Spurs to turn the ball over this much. Amazing D.

I'm a little disappointed. I thought the Thunder should have been able to hang on to a 9 point lead heading into the 4th. That said I wasn't really expecting the refs to call an equal game i figured that San Antonio would get the majority of the calls. But they were raping KD at one end and if you breathed on the Nose they were calling it. Just bad.

Like I said I didn't think it was going to be even but damn really?

Spurs fan here. We all think refs favored your team, go figure. Out of my head: Manu being fouled when shooting a 3 pt (no call), Tony trying a layup, goaltending by Ibaka (no call), Manu being hit by 3 different players (ball out). All 3 were easy, because TV repeated it several times.

Anyway, I want to congratulate you guys. It was a great game, with lots of emotions and amazing basketball. IMHO, Brooks fell short when Pop put the small line up of Parker-Manu-Neal-Jax-Duncan with Manu as PG, and that marked the difference

Either way, hats off to you guys. And obviously I hope Spurs win, but if they don't, I'll be rooting for you to take the ring, these are the real Finals and it's unfair the 2 best teams in the league won't be seeing each other in the Finals. Plus, I think OKC and Clips will be the next SAS and LAL for years to come.

Harden needs to play better. Period.

We lose this series if we can't steal HCA.

We're going to have to significantly outplay the spurs to overcome the coaching discrepancy. I get that he wanted to leave Perk in to guard Duncan 1on1, but at some point you have to go to Serge to protect the basket.

I didn't think the refs were really biased in either direction. They weren't very consistent, but I felt like it didn't particularly favor either team.

Isn't that just kind of the way it works? Similar to saying "we won't win if they outscore us"? :)

It's the difference between winning in 6 and losing in 7 :D

This series is done. That is what is so upsetting. The Thunder won't beat the Spurs 3 games in a row or 4 out of 5 to take back home court. And no way are they going to win a game 7 in San An.

It's been fun but the odds are so long, it just ain't happening. Man where'd the Spurs come from this year? I know they had the best record last year but they were bounced 1st round I was expecting them to be somewhere around 4th or a 5th seed. Not only have they won 19 straight but they are something like 32 out of their last 33. Ridiculous!!! Talk about coming to play night in and night out. That is such a high level of professionalism it's absolutely nuts.

I guess if OKC wants to be the man you have to beat the man. Dallas, done, Lakers done, Spurs not just yet. It would be epic if they could pull it off. Talk about taking the bull by the horns. How many titles are those three teams responsible for in the last 10 years?

Damn so close......

That is one steep hill to climb. I bet it looks something like this.

Well obviously I was wrong about beating the Spurs 3 games in a row, but now they need to stretch it to 4 games in a row. They can't cough up home court back in OKC they need to close it out on Wednesday.

Speaking of closing out games if OKC hadn't coughed up that 9pt heading into the 4th in game one this series would be done.

Still enough time to climb the hill... my exams will finish tomorrow (my local time) meaning i can watch game 3 onwards. hope we can steal 1 tml. Honestly, i want to think we can.

Afaik, i think we need to at least push them to 7 to show some growth.

it's only over if we fail to win tonight...

either way i know we will be back next year while Spurs time is limited after this year.

We were really close to win it, I'm a little more confident after sunday. I think we get away with a close game today.

Stop whining people. We will win tonight and be tied with them going back to OKC. Then, everyone will talk about OKC and how strong they are, etc.
In Thunder we trust.
Life may not be the party we hoped for but while we are here we might as well dance!

Ok well tell me this say the Thunder win tonight which I think is highly probable, you think the Thunder will beat the Spurs the next two game at OKC, which would be three in a row?

Sure they can win tonight and they might even win the first game back in OKC but I just don't see them taking home court advantage by winning the next three in a row. I hope I'm wrong but I seriously doubt it.

This is quickly turning into a clinic.

What astounds me is the ease with which Spurs are scoring. Crisp, clean, precise passing and easy, open buckets compared to OKC, who are pounding the ball, dribble dribble dribbe then a long jumpshot -> brick. The more OKC tries to play 1-on-1 basketball, the more Spurs pass and play team-ball.

The gap in talent is pretty apparent now. I'm sorry, but I don't think it's OKC's time yet this year. They need to take a good look at the way SA plays and learn something from their efficiency and unselfishness. At this point, OKC needs to start thinking about how to prevent themselves from getting swept by the Spurs.

Fans are getting caught up in how many we can or can't win in a row. Players are getting caught up in not getting fouls called on body contact at the rim. Both need to settle down and concentrate on winning a basketball game.

Oh trust me I'm settled down. But I know a long shot when I see one and losing game 1 made winning this series a long, long shot even if OKC's pulls out a miracle and wins game 2. It's called "odds" and the "odds" are not in OKC's favor period.

got to still try, odds doesn't get onto the court. might as well just give it their best at home and see what happen thereafter.
