Should Fisher play 4th quarter against the Heat?

Question came up in my mind.

Chalmers, Wade, Battier, LeBron and Bosh will be on the floor.

Should we play Fisher/Westbrook/Harden/Durant/Bigman against this rotation? Or should the Thunder play better on Crunch time if Sefolosha is playing Wade?

The only time we can afford to play Fish in this series is with Chalmers in. However, there are other players who do the various things Fisher does better than him on this roster. I would prefer to not see him at all in the 4th, and instead give a look of Russ-Harden-Thabo-KD-Ibaka/ Collison, with Harden or Russ guarding Chalmers, the other guarding Battier, and Thabo-Durant handling Wade-Lebron.

Thabo shoots comparably to Fish, so the floor spacing is still there, and defensively we're far better with that unit than with Fish in.

However, I'm sure Brooks will play Fish big 4th minutes because of his "clutch" reputation. Just hope it doesn't bite us...

Good question.
I think it depends on how well Chalmers is playing.
If he is so-so in the game, i would say run the small line up you suggested. If he is having a fairly good game on offense and defense then simply throw Thabo in at let Westbrook deal with Chalmers while Thabs takes care of LBJ or Wade. Most likely Wade, but i think Thabo could give LBJ some fits. He might force him to take mid-range jumpers which is what we (OKC) wants to see. LBJ + Pressure + Mid-Range jumpers = poor shooting.

Whoever is performing better thus far in the game, whether on offence and/or defence.

I'm rooting for you guys, so It feels just like home cursing at Fisher for his moronic plays. He absolutely killed your momentum when he tried that lay-up in the 4th. All he had to do was dish to Westbrook, but he's trying hard to prove he's "clutch." The man needs to retire. His leadership is great and he could do all those motivational speeches as part of the coaching staff. He doesn't need to be a useless player to bring his intangibles to the table.
