I was wondering who OKC will use as a back-up center. I assume Ibaka will get some of the minutes with Perk on the bench... but who's the next guy in line?

I think Cole Aldrich deserves a shot at an expanded role. It would be nice to see him get ~15mpg off the bench.

Aldrich will get the chance at season start to prove his worth but come playoff, if neither Aldrich nor thabeet has proven themselves, we're probably going to split minutes between Perkins/Ibaka/Collison there... Hopefully way less Perkins if we face Miami again.

Aldrich showed enough in the preseason to warrant the 10-12 minutes of backup C that Nazr vacated. I think he'll be fine there. He was the best of all our bigs during the preseason, Perkins and Collison included. Says more about the quality of our frontcourt than Aldrich, though.

I guess Thabeet it is.

Will orton be signed then?
