1st off I like the contributions of Thabeet so far. He gives you 6 fouls and production at 7-3. That being said I think the integration of Lamb and Jones during the year are very important to this team. They are both long athletic scorers who can defend their positions as well-and I think Oklahoma will need their diversity as the season goes on. This team is not less with harden gone--it potentially can be more.

I agree with you, I'd like to see Lamb and Jones get in the game more as the season progresses. Lamb should get more playing time to work the defensive side of the court. His long arms and athletic ability should make him a threat when guarding the ball, and hopefully he'll be the guy to cause turnovers. I've always been a big advocate of defense...capitalizing on turnovers are a huge momentum boost, and usually the difference between winning and losing.

I would have to think Lamb would be the guy who will eventually replace Thabo as he can be a similar defensive player(maybe better) with much more offensive fire power in his game.

Very true. Thabo plays hard, but he doesn't provide the defensive spark that can make differences in the game. Granted, it's only been 4 games, but time will tell if he is the best option or not.
Does anyone like to live chat during games?

i'm all for giving Lamb some of thabo's minutes. thabo plays hard but he just doesn't give you enough consistently to justify his minutes.

Thabo's played great this season and Lamb isn't winning any of Martin's minutes. I don't think either Lamb or Jones are that good.

Yeah, they couldn't be useful when given time...
Perry didn't participated offensively and defensively. Couldn't get open on offense, couldn't be active on defense, didn't rebound... Lamb seems lost.
But I guess it's wiser to play them than guy like Thabeet who is just as raw, but don't have that kind of upside.

Both should be sent to the D-League. They can get more playing time and improve their defense. If the produce in Tulsa then bring them back to the City.

Lamb and Jones down at the Dleague, Seems they would rotated with Liggins down there.
Would be interesting to see if Reggie Jackson is getting down as well, i think he has deserved the chance to run some PG due to Maynor's form.

There really isn't a place for them to play. The roster and rotations are pretty set for the year baring a trade. The exception being Jackson in for maynor. The thunder are rotating them in and out of the d league so they can practice with the team but get to play in games some. That is the best approach. This is a finals team so the only rotation questions should be is how to best manage the 9 man rotation
