Trading Eric Maynor

Post#1 » by theokie » Tue Feb 19, 2013 5:11 pm

It looks like if OKC is going to make a move, that Maynor will likely be going out. What do you think we can get in return? His value has dropped significantly, but perhaps if we can package him with a pick and maybe PJIII I think we could get a decent rotational player in return.

Barea maybe?

Looks like he is gone. Hopefully Sammy got a first out of the Blazers!

Only getting a trade exception, Presti screwed up not trading Maynor when his value was high, particularly knowing he was going to draft Jackson.

His value was never anything really significant, he was always a deal sweetener at the most. Got something for him at least, always better than nothing.

He obviously wasnt himself coming back from injury, he was getting a lot closer though. Reggie Jackson is bigger and more athletic and started playing well so maynor just got pushed out of the rotation through no fault of his own. I think most of us still really like him, there just wasnt a fit for him anymore.

Career high 12 dimes in 31 minutes off the bench for Eric last night in his third game with the Blazers.

I absolutely have no idea why he couldn't be getting the 10-15 minutes a night that Fisher is getting. Its unbelievable.
