Reggie Jackson taking too much threes

Post#1 » by MvPderozan » Mon Nov 4, 2013 12:57 am

Why is this guy taking so much threes. Especially contested ones. And i notice he doesn't even look for Durant on offense much. Who does this guy think he is. He is really hurting this team in the early part of the year.

I think having Westbrook out, Reggie really put it on himself to step up and try to make a difference.

However, he has been trying to do a little too much and it has been hurting us a little.

Russ was back tonight and I must say, Reggie played a lot better. Lamb too.

Seems that everyone, not just Ibaka and KD benefit from having Westbrook out on the floor. I would think that Reggie now settles down a little and plays within himself and the offence and becomes a very handy 6th man.

Too many* threes

He's simply not a good three point shooter. It needs to stop soon.

Interesting to look back at this thread over so little time. I feel like he's been really hitting them lately in all kinds of situations. Haven't looked at numbers but it seems like he's hit a really high percentage.

This thread started, he was 2 of 12.

Since, he's been 9 of 24 so he's shooting a bit better.

He's now hit 6 of his last 13 attempts from 3... He'll be something really special if he can become an above average 3pt shooter as well.

Keep posting ... keep posting!!

But really it's about which ones to take. I believe it was last night (portland) he took a dribble to get a straight on 3. Russ likes the left angle and durant the right angle. Knowing your spots is key.

his shot selection has been better than OKC's other point guard this year
