Almost the perfect scenario, especially in this deep draft! What do you think it most likely:

a) make both picks
b) package one/both of our firsts with a player to upgrade to an experienced player
c) package multiple picks to move up in the draft and take one of the more premier prospects

I love this situation.

I would also love all three scenarios.

1. Let our more expensive free agents go like Thabo and replace them with young guys like Roberson and these two picks in a loaded draft.

2. Pick up a more proven player that can help in a big way right away.

3. What if we traded both our picks + Jackson for the best combo guard in the draft? I don't know the prospects that well but I think Marcus Smart would look nice.
    PG: Westbrook/Jackson/Smith
    SG: Roberson/Morrow/Lamb
    SF: Durant/Jones/Lamb
    PF: Ibaka/Collison/McGary
    C: Adams/Perkins

1. I've voiced my disgust in adding 2 players fromt he draft, mostly from we have too much talent that need minutes on the bench already. The players I do like in the draft are PFs...and we are pretty set big man wise.

2. Pick up a player..not necessarily in a big way. With CJ Miles and Anthony Morrow already on the Thunders supposed radar this year...and being unrestricted FAs...could be an interesting combo to keep up with.

3. Is the best combo guard in the draft better then Jackson? I really don't know so that could be a stupid question.

The only player in the draft that I like that is out of our range (and theoretically in the range of trading for) is Stauskas. I like Payne, Napier, Early, and Bogdonovic(in late round scenario).

1) Can see why adding another 2 youngster won't be ideal but we can always draft and stash.

2) Morrow has another year i believe? Though it's 1 or the other and it's probably 1 of them for Bulter/Thabo salary hold. Heck we probably can get rush for cheap....

3) Would we move Jackson is a very good question. If Orlando doesn't trade for a PG, could we trade for AA? We could get a veteran C from somewhere else.

a. In a loaded draft is good to have 2 picks in the first round, especially since Sefolosha and Butler are free gents,
Fisher reportedly going to retire, Jerett no guaranteed contract for next season

b. We need a third PG and PF as a possible replacementand for Fish and Collison in the near future.
If we fail to re-sign Sef or Butler will need another shooter (SG-SF)
One of our first + Perkins is the only logical package that I currently see
Do not know what is the plan for Abrines and Pleiss

c. I'm not sure whether it would be wise to replace Jackson with a rookie.

I think we first have to wait to see how it will go into the play-offs :D
