The NBA plans to decorate the backs of players jerseys with a gold mark indicating franchises with a championship history. The OKC Thunder (formerly the Seattle SuperSonics) have declined to have their 2014-2015 jerseys adorned with the gold symbol which would represent the Sonics 1979 NBA championship. I'm curious to hear your thoughts/feelings on the subject.

Pretty much universal applause from us, none of us really care about the Sonics history.

If anyone wants to discuss, go for it in the around the NBA thread. Gonna lock this because it's not really a story to most OKC fans at this point and generally turns into a flamewar.
