I was not aware, that Kerr hired Ron Adams at GSW

I wish the Thunder could get Adams back, he was the big reason the Thunder went from 3-29 to 50 win seasons. A lot of his defensive principles are still empoyed by the Thunder.

GSW is gonna get a lot better at the defensive end of the court, that's just a little bit scary.

And right now, on the Thunder, a good defensive mind on the coaching staff could help us get through this period without KD. Presti alluded to playing better defense in the PC announcing KD's injury, I think that is the answer, rather than loading the starting line-up with teams best scorers and trying to outscore everybody.

Adams is from the Thibodeau school of defense. Funnel everything to the outside and to the baseline, don't let anyone get the middle, then flood the strong side and don't allow easy passes back to the weak side. Ice ( or blue ) the side PnR ... those are all Thibs/Adams principles.

Edit: He's been gone for multiple years, he left in 2010. Left Chicago last offseason and OKC in 2010. The defense has employed pretty much the same scheme.

Kerr is making smart moves. He's never been a head coach, but he's hiring top quality assistants.

I wonder how much Thunder gonna miss Brian Keefe, who went to Knicks with Fisher.

I don't know, but Brooks has been fine with development as well, I'm sure it will be OK.
