First KD & now Russ out for several weeks. Hope Reggie gets right in a hurry. Sebastian Telfair is awful.

Beyond nightmare.
There's a real chance , they don't make the playoffs.
I only see two games in November, that I think this team has a chance to win, the Kings and Bucks.
Still got all the bigs, maybe Presti can find a PG, and they can rework the team. Eric Maynor is unsigned, and he's familiar with Thunder hoops.

At least this is happening now and not at the end of the season

The wolves were doing this before it was cool.

Sorry guys . . . really do feel bad for you. As a Blazer fan I totally get the injury thing. On the bright side, at least they're not career enders like PDX had in Roy and Oden.

Losing KD was bad enough.. We get one game of seeing how good Westbrook can be at running the show and now were have lost that opportunity..
Now who knows how we will be without these two guys for 4-6.. Maaaan if we miss the playoffs in the first year of probably Westbrook/KD's peak seasons I will be so disappointed.
Russ will probably miss all star game now too:(

Eh, still possible. Based on last year's performance (some will still vote for him and KD), and assuming he's back in the 4-6 weeks, still possible.

The Crazy thing about it is Westbrook and KD both took breaks this offseason to give it their all this season....
They are the most heart broken right now. They probably feel horrible.

This guy says defense is gonna save us, and I think that's where this team should now put its emphasis

Chicago is a prime example. They place so much emphasis on defense; team defense is imperative. Furthermore, if this year turns out to be a bad year, they have a shot at the lottery. A top pick will definitely help this team.

Hopefully you guys won't take this as sarcasm or a veiled attack as a non-OKC fan, but as a result of these injuries I've genuinely never been more awed about you guys in terms of potential threat level.
I mean, I see two outcomes here-
1.) You pull a 1996–97 Spurs, miss the playoffs, get a lottery pick, and come into next year as a championship contender with a top lottery talent.
2.) You pull a 2013-14 Spurs by playing all your non-stars and young potential a **** more than you usually would so that by the time the playoffs come around (which you manage to squeeze into in this scenario), you not only have KD and Russ ready but you have a roster with a lot more confidence and depth from all the playing time.
Unless I missed something? Obviously all scenarios involve plenty of luck and assumptions, but I see potentially enormous silver linings here.

And..... Roberson goes down. Sometimes lately I feel like there's a higher chance of somebody going down with an injury than making a basket. This is no insult to the guys that have been working their butt off, but this is getting ridiculous. At one point tonight PJ3 also was hobbling around and I about just turned it off!

Your missing that we MAY , only have two more years of KD. I don't know how a lost season would play with KD.
At times, I think he's bought into being here for his career, and at other times I get real paranoid and feel the entire NBA media is rooting for him to leave and he himself would rather be in a more glamorous city.
So it sucks if this is a lost season, in that regard.

I almost purchased league pass this year but backed out, not because Thunder have gone south with injuries, but this is my first year with Dish Network. Right now, on the free preview, all the games are in HD. But when I went to purchase, it says SD . I'm not paying $200 to watch blurry SD games.

You can still watch league pass broad band in hd via a roku or Apple tv.

PJ banged up now too. At this point we all just have to laugh and ride it out. Win or lose I still love every player on our roster and I know they're actually going all out for each other.

I'm not even sure I can bring myself to watch another game for awhile. Not because I know the chances of us winning are slim to none, but because I don't know if I can stomach seeing another player get injured in the first half and leave the game for good. I don't know what stage of grief I'm in, but right now it's a combination of I haven't quite, fully accepted this nightmare and all I can do is just laugh at the ridiculousness of it all.
My girlfriend and family know how big of a Thunder fan I am and how borderline obsessed I am with them; and I can tell my reactions to a player getting hurt game after game after game is confusing the crap out of them. After I told my girlfriend tonight another player got hurt and was out for the game, she just kept asking if I was sure I'm ok, and every time she asked I just laughed and told her I'm not even sure if this is really happening.
I think I might be just a another week or two of this from completely going off the deep end.

I'm so upset with all the injuries you guys are going through.
