Figured we could do one for each position rather than filling the front page with them. What type of season do you think each guy will have?

Russ: GOAT is gonna GOAT. He'll be forced to take a step back from last year, but that's a good thing. I think we'll see a readjustment period but after the first month he'll be more locked in defensively than he was last season and hopefully will get to rest more. I wouldn't be shocked to see he and KD spend less time on the floor together than they have in previous years, and most likely Russ getting more time with Kanter, Morrow and Singler.

DJ: I'm slightly disappointed with how DJ played after getting here last year. He's struggled in the backup role throughout his career and always raises his game when he is in the starting lineup. Hopefully he comes in this year and performs better than last, but I wouldn't bank on it. he'll be a solid backup, just not what I'd hoped when we got him.

Cam: he'll be in and out of the D-league. I have high hopes for him, but he isn't getting thrown to the wolves on a championship contender. Hopefully he gets some mop-up duty and looks good. I expect a Jeremy Lamb like first season for him.

I'm a bit more bullish on Cam, I hope he takes over a bit of DJ's duty and can get about 10 mpg or so by season's end. Russ should always see a vast majority of the time for me.

I expect Russ to take a slight step back on offense and a step up on defense and playmaking. DJ will be DJ—solid backup PG, bad defense. You know what you're getting. We probably won't get much idea of Cam unless he definitively outplays DJ. I expect him to anchor the Blue.

Russ will have his best year in apg. His scoring will take a little dip.

DJ will not finish the year in a Thunder uniform. He will be a solid backup but Presti will trade him to another team.

Cam Payne will bounce back and forth across the street between the Thunder and Blue but eventually become a Thunder bench mob leader. He will be given more slack then a rookie around these parts has been given and finish the year as the backup.

I think we are going to see the beginnings of Westbrook taking over the 2 position this year.
Im betting by the AS break he is spending 40% of his time at the 2.

Wonder after how well everyone says Payne played today if he takes over backup instead of 3rd string role. Wonder if possibility of an Augustin trade is on the table?

Russ will have a monster first half at PG. Then he will lose the job. Payne will become the starting PG after the all-star break. Westbrook will become the starting SG. It will not really effect Westbrook other than he will bring the ball up the court less. Just like Wade, LeBron, Magic and others have played the point guard role for their teams while not playing point guard Russ will be similar.
