They said he could have played in the scrimmage, but they wanted to be safe.

Slater said he is TBA for Friday's preseason game.

How are his preseason minutes going to look? Will they limit him? If he is limited can we expect Kanter to start for those fest few reg season games

Adams has opened the door for Kanter to claim the starting center role. If Kanter looks like his defense can hold up with the starters I suspect Adams gets relegated to the bench for the regular season

Adam's should be fine, even if he's not he is on a team that can work around his minutes.

As far as starting goes, no one wants Kanter starting.
Kanter is a perfect 6th man and Adams is a perfect starter.
Having that high defense in at the start of the game will help set the tone for OKC.
Kanter, can come in and very, very quickly post up 17-8.
Hes the perfect guy to bring in with 4 minutes left in the first or four minutes into the second. I dont see this changing. Hes the Jamal Crawford of centers.

I really hope Kanter isn't as bad as Crawford.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

There was a time when Craw was useful. Not recent, but it existed.

He also never got paid 16 million per year and was at a position where his lack of defense didn't kill his team. I don't think Kanter will be bad though.
