Sorry to be a debbie downer, but I can already tell Foye is going to get too many shots.

As long as he takes them away from Dion as well as Cam we'll break even.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

I wouldn't care as much if they were Dion's shots, but they're probably Cam's.

it didn't work well but i like the fact that donovan tried some small ball line up with Ibaka/KD/WB/roberson/foye. It could be our best small ball line up (until payne improves a bit on defense)

Billy needs to stop this Foye/Waiters bs right now. Payne can't get his minutes cut so these two guys can jerk around on the floor. He's gonna be an X-factor come playoffs and we can't effort to bench him for those guys. Lamb/Butler and Jackson/Fisher all over again.

Yep. By the time the playoffs get here I wouldn't be surprised if Payne barely plays at all. Hope I'm wrong but this organization has a track record of doing this.

They just stopped doing it after that Finals run 2012. If Beverly doesn't hurt Westbrook 2013, Jackson might never see so many minutes. Adams might not be the player he is today if there's a serviceable Center on the roster next to Perkins in 2013.

I just don't get it. Young guys need to get minutes in order to improve. Payne should be out there for 20 minutes a night, not get his minutes cut so we can enjoy the suckiest backcourt in the whole league.

even more now that we will play a lot of games against GSW/SAS/LAC. Could tell if he's already ready to fight against the best teams in the playoffs or not.

Payne could be the X-factor in the playoffs. He needs time out there, especially against good teams.

So, when Dion scores 10+ points, team win every team basically.
Then maybe is not coincidence that the best post Harden team was with Kevin Martin. He was better scorer then Reggie. He was more suited for playing with Russ because off ball movement.
Now, that role is in the hands of Dion Waiters who is not good enough. I believe next season Payne will be good enough for the role, but KD could be gone by then.

Please Joe, pick the OKC.

trying to not feel too excited about thIs...at the end he will choose the guaranteed appearence in the finals with a good shot to win the title.
But if he wants to be a key player of a ''contender'' team that really needs him and desire him more than any other team, OKC is waiting for you JJ :)

we already have an isolation 'scorer' that sucks and can't play defense.

Agree, I'd love him. Problem is he wouldn't replace Dion, he'd replace Cam probably.

Pretty sure it would be Foye/Dion/Johnson, I'd rather have Singer's attempts at defense than watch that garbage.
