When we played at Portland and they had lost several in a row, I kind of felt like we were going into a buzz saw. They were desperate for a win. I feel like our guys should play and feel the way Portland played against us. Denver has plenty to play for, but I feel our guys should have a little bit of desperation-urgency. Maybe having Cam back gives everyone a boost.

The main problem in that game was us getting manhandled with the bench and then never being able to get back in it afterwards. One could say 'We let them in'

We were up 9 shortly after Westbrook sat down and then gave up 22 points in ~6 minutes.

Nice graph, showing Domas as one of the premiere rim-protectors alongside Porzingis, Embiid, Hibbert, Gobert, Aldridge. He doesn't get nearly as many blocks as them, but blocks is a meaningless stats since DFG% accounts for everything that matters as it is.

Kind of hard to believe at first, but goes to show that Domas is a very solid positional interior defender.

We tried it a bit. By the eye test it was working fairly well but by the numbers it was pretty awful.

I imagine defence would not have been so great with Russ and Payne both out there. Payne tried but was a rookie guard, and Russ sleeps on most of his assignments. Could be a great duo offensively, but we have a similar dynamic, but better, with Oladipo out there.

It's actually the offense that was really horrible. I'm going from memory so I don't remember exactly what it was that made it look so bad. I think cam's numbers were okay and Russ's terrible, but it was also a small sample and the bench was bad with pretty much everyone last year.
