OKC Frontcourt Bullies vs. Los Angeles Perimeter Softies
If Kanter is cleared to play, this should be an easy win.

Looks like Kanter is back and McD and Taj are playing.

Any word on the starting lineup? Taj and McD starting?

Well... at least we have the best bench big-duo in the league.

Not surprised by that. Donovan can be very flexible in some ways (see: Grant at center), but very stubborn in other ways. Particularly with starting certain guys. Just like Brooks was.
I wouldn't mind if Taj was just coming off the bench for one or two games to help him get acclimated, and then start him. But I doubt that's going to happen.

When was it announced Oladipo was out?
That sucks. First game back from the break, got two new players to acclimate on top of Kanter's return while playing with a cast on his shooting arm and our third best player and our only non-Westbrook player who can create his own shot is out? Awesome. I was hoping we'd start the post-ASB portion of our season with a home win against a team we should beat. Don't see it happening, now.

The way Royce has been reporting the aftermath of the trade, it sounds like Gibson will step into the starting lineup after a couple games.
Will be interested to see what this rotation looks like with Dipo out tonight. Bet we see a bit of Robes at the 2 and McBuckets at 3 which could be a nice combo.

Westbrook is really trying to pad his assists count tonight.

I hope this is a joke.
Anyway, Abrines just got unleashed.

Turnovers and offensive rebounds are allowing the Lakers to hang around.

So all we really needed was to start Alex?

Every time we push the lead out to 8-10 points, we turn it over a few times, the Lakers hit a three or two, and it's right back to being a 3-4 point game.

We can't score. Russ can't make anything.

Can't get over that 8-10 point lead hump. We had possession up with a little less than a minute to go in the 2nd quarter and Abrines missed a wide-open three. The Lakers come down and hit a three in transition, we miss another three and the Lakers go down and score and it's a four point game again just like that. So frustrating.
