Would probably like to see more of Dougie out there in place of Roberson with the starting group.

And who would have guessed, Sabonis having better performances coming off the bench and playing against bench players. Shocking. Well, at least Donovan got there eventually. But he really is playing better, throwing his body around, making good plays. Once he gets a couple more seasons into him he'll be a really solid 3rd option kind of power forward that can do a bit of everything.

Still would be nice to see Victor be a bit more aggressive sometimes.

Overall though a pretty standard game, did what we needed to do against one of the lesser teams of the comp. Interesting part was Russ really focusing on getting guys involved, when early on NOBODY else was hitting anything. Wouldn't have blamed him for having one of those nights where he ends up with 40+ points and 6 assists because nobody else is hitting anything, but he persisted, only had to shoot the ball 6 times, and ended up with 14 assists. That right there is leadership.

Donovan is driving me mad with his rotations. There's just no sense to them. Gibson with the fewest minutes of all starters. Let's go ahead and finish the 2nd quarter with Grant for no reason.

I know people like to **** on Donovan here, but I personally feel he is still experimenting with his lineups. It was the same issue last season and by the time the playoffs rolled around he nailed the rotations in my opinion.

There's a distinct difference between adjusting in game and just **** around with lineups on the floor. His choices usually don't make sense.

And all he did in the Playoffs was playing his best players the most minutes. We weren't suddenly 10 deep because Donovan found the right mix.

I am so glad my 6W1L prediction came to be true after our 4L streak. So I am going to predict a full 10W from here on to be able to match my pre-season prediction of 51 wins.
