Thunder bench performance as measured by hoopsstats.com has declined every season since 2013-14.
Thunder assists per game were 25th best in league as of a few days ago. GSW are 5th highest in league history. Rockets, second best this season.

RPM estimates put the combined impact of newly given mega-contracts Oladipo and Adams at right at half of last season or same as either ONE.

If you made a list of best 5 Presti decisions, 4 or 5 would be at least 7 years ago (Russ, KD, Harden, Serge and probably Brooks?).

To win the first round, the Thunder probably need to play an extremely short rotation and get an early knockout before tiring.

If Thunder plan and expect to re-sign Roberson, you could argue for them to draft a PG or PF before a wing but if they don't plan or expect to keep Robes, they either need to draft a SF or trade for one. And probably pick up another in free agency.

By PER and BPM, Sabonis has had the least productive season of any Thunder player taken in first round and given more than 300 minutes. By Winshares per 48 Jeff Green was a bit worse.

Abrines and McDermott are good (not great) 3 pt shooters and the team surly needs that skill. But they are about as one dimensional as you get.

Cole might do something good in playoffs but I'd say there were many players who probably had a better chance to help more / hurt less.

Looking at Oladipo's stats I see at least 8 career lows in important categories. His assists per game are down 40% from his previous average. Seems unlikely to change unless he plays with bench more and Russ less.

The only way Taj stays is if he continues to start and gets paid like a starter even while his minutes are only low 20s or less.

On the Morey Index (% of shots from good zones) Thunder improved for a bit this season but are back where they started. Slightly below average.

You got sauce on that, Crow? I thought I saw something a couple of weeks back that had them a little higher than I expected. Probably mistaken.

It was different a few weeks ago. But changed.
That's TS%, not Morey.

AR, I guess I pulled wrong thing. Maybe I can find right one later.
Bondom, you gave your link as a shout out for Oladipo? His RPM has improved, mist of the way back to last season's but not quite.
By BPM Thunder has, worst bench in league.

showing what I said.
The other one looked the same. I had seen both and retrieved wrong one.

Looking at a new dataset I found, Westbrook ranks in bottom 10 in league of guys in rotation for contesting 2 and 3 pt shots. Contests only about 1/3rd of average for 2 pointers, less than half on 3s.
