Adams needs a time out. Just pathetic.

I can't believe I'm saying this but..... Going forward I think kanter makes more sense than Adams. Kanter will make less money and he is functional on offense regardless of the situation you put him in. If the floor is clogged, he draws a double. If there is spacing, he can dominate 1 on 1. His defense is real bad, but so is Adams' and that's supposed to be his strength. Presti has to at least see what he can get for Adams especially since his value is higher atm. I think kanter should still be traded at some point as well, but Adams contract is going to look horrible once it kicks in if this keeps up.

Sad to hear but true. Both are liabilities but Kanter can score and rebound. Adams does nothing. I'm also ok with moving Sabonis for a proven player. I've got no faith in him anymore.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, shall we.

I'm not OK with moving Sabonis. His effort in the first qtr was enough for me. He had a critical putback disallowed for 24 second violation. Things really went downhill after the timeout after that though. I really wonder what D'Antoni whispers to the ears of these guys to burst out of timeouts and score at will for like 5 minutes afterwards.
The problem with the team is the guys with the biggest expectations who were offered generous checks because of the fear of FA is totally underperforming in the most critical of times. I want to modify my song that I wrote for bipolar Miami Heat fans (Fear of the draft) to suit or situation:
Fear of July, fear of July
I have a constant fear that Nets will overpay
Fear of July, fear of July
I have phobia that Stevie won't come back
When I'm walking the tank road
I am a man who walks alone

We need proven guys around Russ. Sabonis hasn't showed me enough to see that he's going to develop in time to be a contributor while we have Russ. He's at least an asset.

I wish our 50 million dollars worth of sg/c were proven.

You got me. They suck. There really isn't anyone on this team I can defend besides Russ. Vic hasn't played horrible but we are paying/using a sixth man like a number 2 man.

Ahead of ourselves? Cmon man. You said yourself how much Adams has sucked for the last 3rd of the season. I've wanted to give him chances to prove himself this year, but we are almost at the finish line and he has been a big disappointment. That's before the extension kicks in. We can give him these last few games and the playoffs (we don't have a choice anyway), but if he doesn't show even decent improvement by the time the season is over, he should be gone on draft night. I'm sad to say that, but he can't weigh this team down. I liked Steven since he was drafted, but some hard decisions will have to be made in the post Durant aftermath. I almost can't stand to watch jokic highlights because they make me sad, but he's sick so I watch anyway.

This not the norm for Adams. His recent play has to be addressed, but not by panicking like that.

Agree with the opinions here, Kanter is the one that is showing that he cares, and if this type of behaviour continues by Adams, bench him for Enes.
Hes a menace down low, hes straight up getting double teamed by everyone, give him the opportunity to grow on defense as we gave Adams all these years opportunity to grow on both offense and defense, dont demoralize Enes's effort to be a productive guy in OKC.
Adams must use his body down low to abuse other teams paint protectors, and all he is doing these days is avoiding contact.
If he is injured, then just **** fix those issues, **** the seed hunting in a season where we are imperativeless ...
