He makes sure that he is going to go the extra mile to show everyone the treatment he is receiving from his native country. He is also a reflection of things that are happening currently in Turkey like additional pressure on everything from media to education to normalize things the way the ruling party requires.

I guess he's doing the right thing, mostly for himself in this case.
1. By saying he's having death threats from turkey's gouvernements, odds of Erdogan doing something to him are way lower (it would be a crazy move to kill an ''American'' NBA star).
2. He's defending his cause and saying how dangerous Erdogan is. That's good too but it's not something new...

Career-wise, personality-wise he's such a disappointment for any Turkish basketball fan.
He wasnt a follower of a religious sect in the past. He was a really promising prospect back then. He used to dominate J.Valanciunas in European u18, u21 kind tournaments.

It wasnt a poll actually.
I acted lazy and I didnt look up for the English meaning of the word. Referendum is the word i was looking for. Same one we use in Turkish.

Erdogan won the referundum.
He won many elections. His party usually gets votes around %45-52.
This referendum was about him so i get that %49 no vote as opposers.

My point was its not only pro-Erdogan guys hating him.
Seculars, Kurds, Socialist or Nationalist. It doesnt matter. No one likes that guy.
He and his "movement" worked with Erdogan for 25-30 years in Turkey. I marched against both of them in Gezi Park protests. I experienced police violence. Those cops were Gulenist like Enes. Enes used to lick Erdogan's ass back in those days.

He's not a honest, trustworthy guy. He doesnt represent any major Erdogan opposing group in Turkey.

I can confirm that nobody likes Enes and his religious group anymore. Anyone who had ever liked them in the past were Erdogan supporters anyways.
