I'd definitely pass. I'm OK with Melo, but they're taking back too much money and Plumlee's contract is worse than Kanter's to me. Not a bad framework but I'd need that part switched and personally I'd rather toss NY a pick instead of Abrines.

That's almost 39 mil for an aging Melo and Miles Plumlee?! No thanks.
I don't understand why everyone's so keen on Melo. We have a wing now. Melo doesn't play any sort of defense and is getting old.
Plumlees contract is awful and we would lose Abrines just before he gets use to the NBA game

Drop Plumlee and Abrines from the deal and I could see it working. But, I think the deal would have to be Kanter and Singler for Melo. But this move would end up costing the Thunder about $10 million in Lux Tax, idk if it is worth it to deal a 25 year old C for an aging forward @ 33.
